Have you even dreamed of spending the summer in ALASKA? This is a perfect opportunity to do just that without breaking the bank. This position is perfect for someone that is already planning to travel to Alaska or someone who has always wanted to spend a summer in Alaska without the confines of a 2 week vacation. We are a relatively small park with just 29 sites, in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. We are located just 10 minutes from the world-famous Kenai River and we’re close to all the popular outdoor activities; fishing, hiking, rafting etc., but still conveniently near all necessary services as well.
The bulk of the position entails keeping the restroom/shower area clean, showing arrivals to their sites, ensuring guests check-out on time and general grounds keeping ie; watering flowers, trash pickup, weed whacking and keeping community fire pit area tidy. These are the duties that will cover your site rent and use of park amenities.
As the owners, we live onsite and own and operate 2 food trucks on the grounds. The perfect candidates would be willing and able to interact with our guests, provide outstanding customer service, answer questions, address minor issues and be “the face” of the park while we are busy operating the food trucks (we are always available to you but often very busy).
The paid wages portion of the agreement will include you working in our camp store/ice cream/coffee stand in the morning or evenings to lend a hand during busy hours.
Required dates of position: May 15th – Sept 1st You are welcome to arrive as early as May 15th and stay as late as Sept 15th.
Offer includes FHU + Showers/Laundry + Wages. Total hours expected to work 45/week
30hrs/week park duties covers site rent
20hrs/week at $13/hr + tips working the coffee and ice cream shop (more hours available for the right candidate)
These hours can be discussed in further detail with the right candidate and are just intended as an outline of structure and can be fine-tuned to meet individual needs. Because we live onsite, we are flexible in allowing for unscheduled days off when adventure calls or if park duties are completed ahead of schedule.
Qualifications :
- Ability to stand, walk and lift 40lbs
- Outgoing & friendly
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate basic campground tools
- (weed eater,leaf blower,etc.)
- Flexibility in tasks assigned

Ice Cream & Coffee Shop Wonder Worker
$13/ hour + Tips
Seeking an energetic, friendly, and all around outgoing individual. Seeking someone to work 40 hours/ week from June 1st – September 15th. Includes a full hookup spot with a heavily discounted rate (75% off) and free access to the laundry and showers.
