Your Perfect Alaska Getaway!

Located halfway between Anchorage and Homer, a unique destination awaits you on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula.

About The Park

Strategically located halfway between Anchorage and Homer, Moose Crossing Campground & Food Truck Park is the perfect spot for your home base on the Kenai Peninsula. Whether you’re fishing or hiking or just passing through, our park is a great place to take a break from the road. Moose Crossing is locally owned and operated by full time Alaskans and we’re always ready to point you in the right direction for a little adventure in our favorite place on Earth.

Moose Crossing Campground is a relatively small park with just 28 RV spaces geared towards small to mid sized RVs but we do offer some large pull through spaces to accommodate big rigs. Being a smaller park allows us the opportunity to interact with our guests and help you get the most out of your stay. In the park you can enjoy two well known local food trucks that serve at our covered dining pavilion when they are not at one of the many local outdoor events. We look forward to having you stay with us and we’re exited to be part of your ALASKA EXPERIENCE.

The Location

Moose Crossing is just a 5 minute walk from where the Moose River pours into the world famous Kenai River. That means fishing and kayaking at your leisure. Our location puts you within reach of many great day trips, allowing you to make the most of your time on the Kenai Peninsula. Cooper Landing is only a 30 minute drive and offers great fishing and hiking opportunities.

The city of Soldotna is a 15 minute drive and offers all the amenities you could possibly need. Soldotna is the retail hub of the Peninsula and hosts great local events almost every weekend throughout the summer. The Soldotna Wednesday Market is heralded across the state as one of the greatest weekly outdoor summer markets in Alaska. Featuring live music, local artists and as many as 30 food trucks, this event is THE place to be to enjoy Alaska’s midnight sun.

Seward is about a 1.5 hour drive. Here you can get onboard some of the most incredible day cruises through the Kenai Fjords National Park or world class fishing charters. It is also a cute town with a central shopping district and the Alaska Sea Life Center.

Just 1.75 hours south is Homer, home to world class halibut fishing, awe inspiring views and one of the grooviest little communities in Alaska. Let adventure be your guide and Moose Crossing, your home away from home.

Onsite Food Trucks

We think one of the coolest things about our park is our onsite food truck pavilion (coming soon). Featuring two of the Kenai Peninsula’s most popular food trucks. You can enjoy world cuisine with an Alaskan twist or have a tasty frozen treat from our dessert truck all without leaving the park.

Take advantage of our covered dining pavilion where you can enjoy your meal, mingle with locals and visitors alike or relax with a good book. We created a unique place for our local community as well as our park guests to gather and enjoy good food, good vibes and good people in a comfortable outdoor space.
